Meet Our Pastors
I Am Church is led by Suffragan Bishops Jeffrey S. Akers and Dr. Kandy Akers, whose ministry is marked by biblical conviction, spiritual leadership, and a deep love for God’s people. Together, they carry a heart for prayer, sound doctrine, discipleship, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Their leadership reflects both pastoral care and a broader Kingdom vision that reaches beyond the local church through missions, ministry, media, business, and service.

Jeffrey S. Akers
Suffragan Bishop Jeffrey S. Akers leads with faith, vision, and a passion to see lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to serving as pastor of I Am Church, he also serves in international missions leadership with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and has a heart for reaching people through preaching, discipleship, and global ministry. He is also a filmmaker, media producer, and recording artist who uses creative media as a tool to spread the message of Christ and strengthen the work of the Kingdom.

Dr. Kandy Akers
Suffragan Bishop Dr. Kandy Akers serves with wisdom, strength, compassion, and a deep commitment to the work of God. Alongside her leadership at I Am Church, she serves in global missions leadership within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and brings a rich background in ministry, leadership, business, and service. She is also the founder of Kandy Morrell Ministries, a business owner, and one who works across ministry and nonprofit spaces with a heart to equip, uplift, and impact lives for the glory of God.
